White Mountaineering S/S 2012 Preview

Yosuke Aizawa’s White Mountaineering streetwear fashion label makes its Spring/Summer 2012 debut offering plenty of fashion-savvy apparel designs.  White Mountaineering clothes are based on a single concept; all clothes are designed to be worn outdoors. Design, utility, technology and the imagination to fuse these elements together, while not submitting to sales or market needs.  With a more thoughtful presence regarding the value of clothing Aizawa saw a serious new direction in manufacturing ever since the Japan Earthquake (March 2011). 

The White Mountaineering S/S 2012 collection features natural colors such as beige and brown which are livened by the application of layered ‘cowboy’ design; laid back designs and loose styles based on workwear silhouettes. This season also sees high-tech materials represented by Gore-Tex, denim, cotton, leather and more on White Mountaineering clothing.
