Cube Architecture

This is the year of the cube and modern cubism in design and architecture according to The Trend Report 2011 by Jeremy Gutsche. These volumes have always been in fashion, especially in architecture; check out these cool designs of cube architecture in major buildings by world-renowned architectural offices such as SANAA, OMA, Oppenheim, PTW Architects, 3XN Architects, 3deluxe, BIG Architects, NL Architects, Jun Mitsui & Associates Architects, Orange Architects, JAKOB + MACFARLANE ARCHITECTS and Bercy Chen Studio LP.
However, the leader of this ‘cube’ design revolution was no other than the great master Mies Van Der Rohe who brought a whole new meaning to the cube and designs associated with it, whether they were industrial or architectural designs. Enjoy, the ones which we’ve selected for you as past projects, and lets just wait and see what this 2011 trend will bring!
