(POP)culture | Parking Canopy

Nebraska based designer Garth Britzman has reused recycled soda bottles in a rather creative way.  The project is titled (POP)culture and creates a stunning topographical shade canopy for a vehicle while using recycled soda bottles which have been filled with colored water.  The installation creates an intriguing environment, which appears as if colored leaves are hovering above; this allows the viewer to explore the surface qualities of the bottles at eye level while providing for a visually stunning result.  Undoubtedly, this creative project stimulates the senses as well the fact that we can recycle and reuse materials in utterly creative ways.
