iVictrola iPad Dock

For those who love their iPad’s but miss the warm, muted sounds of a 78rpm phonograph, feast your eyes on the iVictrola iPad dock. Design Within Reach has announced the iVictrola iPad dock. iVictrola iPad dock is the successor to the iVictrola for iPhone dock that originally sold for USD $425. Like the prior model for the iPhone, the latest model features no moving parts whatsoever and the base is made of a large block of polished wood with an old world phonograph horn sticking out of it.  The iVictrola will be available in limited quantities starting in November 2011 for USD $985. Not exactly the cheapest iPad speaker setup in the world, but you’ll have a hard time finding anything quite this stylish for anything less. And BTW, no electricity is required!
